Together Unseen is a ballet in three movements. The inspiration behind the ballet’s title stems from Bizet’s l’Arelesinne Suite, which was composed as incidental music for Alphonse Daudet’s play of the same name, usually translated as The Girl from Arles. The french word “arelesienne” literally translates into something or someone that is unseen, indiscernible or unattainable, similar to a mythical character or the Divine. The dancers are thus “unseen” together.
