About Me | Robert grew up playing sports, playing instruments, and dancing at a local studio. When he realized that he wanted to pursue dance as a career he joined the Houston Ballet Academy Professional Division. He graduated in 2018 and became a trainee at Ballet West where he performed works such as Bruce Mark’s “Lark Ascending”, Gerald Arpino’s “Viva Vivaldi”, and Prince Desire in Ballet West for Kids “The Sleeping Beauty”. He then joined Nevada Ballet Theatre in 2019 where he currently resides as an apprentice. His favorite role so far has been the Second Theme in Balanchine’s “Four Temperaments”. Robert is on the negotiating committee for the American Guild of Musical Arts and is also getting a degree in Business Administration from Penn State World Campus which he hopes to combine with his experience as a professional dancer to help ballet companies grow in the modern landscape. |
