About Me | Nicole Martensen is an anthropologist, social media strategist, and performing artist, currently located in Southern California. Nicole’s background also includes over 25 years of training in multiple dance styles. Nicole’s dance teaching specialties are ballet, ballroom, and Latin styles of dance. Prior to their career in Anthropology, Nicole trained extensively in performing arts at the Orange County High School of the Arts in Santa Ana, California from 2001-2006 as a Music and Theatre major. Nicole then worked as a research archaeologist for the United States Forest Service and at the Stanford Archaeology Center, and as a Library Scholar at Humboldt State University. In 2020, Nicole studied at the Digital Wellness Institute and became a certified digital wellness practitioner and also social media strategist.
